In uploading our mission and vision, UniKL believe through integrated educational curriculum which comprises four main components namely technical, social, cognitive and entrepreneur thinking that aims to provide our graduates with the knowledge, skills and attitude required to contribute towards a knowledge-based economy.
Our practice-oriented teaching strategy requires our student to apply their knowledge rather than just knowing them. For instance, our laboratory and workshops are well equipped to support the teaching and learning process. UniKL also provide conducive eco-system for excellence teaching and learning, R&D, services/resources, student development and community engagement.
Furthermore, many of our faculty members are industry experts’ massive industrial experience who will provide the necessary guidance and development of our students.
UniKL has its own unique entrepreneurial training module as a pathway for students who want to become entrepreneurs that are highly motivated and continuously strive to be successful in competitive business environment.
Certainly, they will have the ability to manage their own business successfully in local and global markets. We aim to produce 20% of UniKL graduates to become successful entrepreneurs/technopreneurs.
Since the September 2003, Universiti Kuala Lumpur Malaysia France Institute (UniKL MFI), or formerly known as Malaysia France Institute (MFI) has become one of the main branch campuses under the University Kuala Lumpur. With this formation, UniKL is the only Universiti in Malaysia or in Asia region that practicing 'hands-on' approached or practical-based training method.
Since the establishments in 1996, UniKL MFI has been recognized as a high-quality technical training provider in the region or Asia-Pasific. Furthermore, with the recent achievement of ISO9001:2000, we are even more committed to a continual improvement in order to meet the needs of our clients.
Employee training is an inevitable for any organization to seek and improve employees' job performance in order to change their skills, knowledge attitude, or behaviour. A study shows that on the average years, U.S businesses spend $40 billion a year on training programs to build workers' skills.
In Malaysia alone, the government will continue to give emphasis on increasing the quality and quantity of skilled manpower. An allocation of RM319 million has been provided under Ministry of Human Resource for this purpose.
Realizing this nation needs, Universiti Kuala Lumpur Malaysia France Insitute(UniKL MFI) proposes 30 additional new training programs that will meet the new and future requirements of the industries in assisting their progressive development and dynamic evolution processes.
Our 'hands-on' training concepts are supported by the up-to-date industrial machines and equipments using French Technology. Our professionalism also already attracted renowned and international companies in which some of them appointing our premises as their Asia-Pasific or Regional Training Center.
In view of this mission, industrials are on MFI's committees to ensure and to give suggestions so that the curriculum and technology delivered are in phase with Malaysian industrial needs. They include Schneider, SONY, Hitachi, MBf Peogeot, OTV and many more.
Short Courses is being offered monthly to any companies or individual that is seeking to improve a certain skill and knowledge.
Customize Courses is offered to individual companies that has specific training requirements that cannot be fulfill by SCP.
Professional Education is offered to individual companies that requires a certification program within specific areas identified between both parties.
Minimum 6 participants and for each course conducted not more than 20.
Completed registration form must be submitted at least two weeks before the training date. Admission is on first come first serve basis. In case of limited places, applicants will be automatically admitted to the next session.
Meals and handouts will be provided during the course. however, accommodation for participants will only be provided upon prior request and arrangement.

All information on courses is correct at the time of printing. However, they are subjected to changes (reschedule or cancellation) by the management of UniKL MFI. Participants will be notified of changes, if any.
TERM OF PAYMENT
Payment shall be made to Akaun Pungutan Unikl MFI, a/c no: 12180010419055 or by cash for individual participant.
Companies with 6 participants will be entitled to get 10% discount.
