PETROLEUM ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY (OPERATION AND SAFETY)

A Bachelor program that applies Engineering Technology on Oil & Gas (Operation & Safety) in Downstream Plant  which focus on the following fields :

•Instrumentation & Control

•Mechanical  Inspection & Maintenance

Program Educational Objectives

  • PEO 1: To produce Oil and Gas Engineering Technologist who are knowledgeable, competent and innovative which will contribute towards the human capital in Industrial Oil and Gas engineering technology related industry.

  • PEO 2: To produce Oil and Gas Engineering Technologist who have effective leadership and team work skills as well as verbal, non-verbal and interpersonal communication skills to support their role in industry.

  • PEO 3: To produce Oil and Gas Engineering Technologist who are committed to the importance of lifelong learning and continuous improvement.

  • PEO 4: To produce Oil and Gas Engineering Technologist who practice professionalism with ethics and social responsibility.

  • PEO 5: To produce Oil and Gas Engineering Technologist who are capable of embarking on business and technopreneurial activities.

Malaysian University Examination Test (MUET) : Band 2

AND

A Pass Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) or its equivalent, with minimum Grade C (CGPA 2.0) in 3 subjects including Mathematics and one science subject and A Pass in (SPM)or its equivalents and a pass in English

OR

A Pass in Diploma with a minimum CGPA of 2.0 in relevant fields from UniKL or from other recognized higher learning institutions by Malaysian Government and A Pass in (SPM)or its equivalents and a pass in English

OR

Pass in UniKL Foundation in Science and Technology or its equivalents from UniKL or other recognized higher learning institutions by Malaysian Government with a minimum CGPA of 2.0; OR Pass in Matriculation / Foundation Science in relevant field with a minimum CGPA of 2.0 and A Pass in (SPM)or its equivalents and a pass in English

Pass in International Baccalaureate (IB) with at least 24 points;
