In the name of Almighty Allah and His Messenger who taught us the meaning of life, I would like to welcome everyone to the website of Universiti Kuala Lumpur, Malaysian Institute of Industrial Technology (MITEC).

Malaysian Institute of Industrial Technology (UniKL MITEC) is a branch campus of Universiti Kuala Lumpur located at Bandar Seri Alam, Johor; offers prospective students far more than just a qualification. We provide beyond normal tertiary education which comprises of valuable learning experience and higher technical, vocational, education and training that produce competent and competitive graduates. The cutting edge training equipment and syllabus are specially designed to fulfil the demands of the future career with experienced lecturers as enabler towards achieving learning objectives for each program offered.

Year 2008 observed the establishment of UniKL MITEC in 2008 at Bandar Seri Alam, Johor Bahru with only four programs which consist of 2 diploma programs and 2 degree programs. In details the programs are Diploma of Quality Engineering, Diploma of Industrial Logistics, Bachelor of Engineering Technology (BET) in Quality Engineering, and Bachelor of Industrial Logistics. Moving forwards, UniKL MITEC has offered another 3 BET degree programs namely Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Facility and Maintenance Engineering and our newly program, Petroleum Engineering Technology (Operation and Safety) as to produce sufficient manpower demand in related industry. In 2019, UniKL MITEC has established 2 new Master programs which are Master of Quality Engineering and Management, and Master in Supply Chain Management.

Here in UniKL MITEC, we encourage students to utilize the facility provided and to involve actively in student’s club and professional club. We believe that active involvement in club activities is important as it will mold the students to be more competitive and fulfil the criteria as required graduates.
On the other perspective, UniKL MITEC provides students with activities that will nurture their generic skills which will be beneficial for their employment. In other word, students are empowered with academic and other vital skills for them to survive in real working world.
