20 Years of Championing Higher Technical, Vocational Education and Training (HTVET) 
Established on 20 August 2002 by Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA)
and wholly owned by MARA Corporation Sdn. Bhd (MARACorp), the university is given the mandate by the government to upgrade the status of technical education in Malaysia. As the nation expects more from technical higher learning institutions, UnikL equips its graduate with strong technological
knowledge and astute entrepreneurial skills who would later fulfil the current and future demand of the industries.
